POP:

You Saved Me

V1] You’re more than perfection

You show me the way

When I lose my direction

When I’m falling

V2] You’re all I could wish for

All that I want

My everything and more

You complete me

Ch: I was out on a limb

But you pulled me in

Yeah you saved me

You turned me around

I was lost now I’m found

Yeah you saved me

You figured it out

And you saved me

Can’t Stop (Thinking About You)

There’s a wolf at the door

He’s gnashing his teeth

My palms are sweating

There’s no relief

There’s nowhere to run

And nowhere to hide

When the Big Bad Wolf

When he gets inside

There’s a million distractions running in my brain

But I just can’t stop, thinking about you

There are a million changes I can’t explain

But I just can’t stop, thinking about you

Can’t stop

Can’t stop

I just can’t stop, thinking about you

I’m thinking about you now

ROCK:

Into My Arms

V1. You’re taking over me

I’m falling, failing

Open wounds won’t heal

When you are far from me

If I stopped breathing

Lost within your dream

If I smile and die

Is it something real

<placew:ston><country-regionw:ston>Ch. Open your eyes and let me see

Inside your aching bleeding heart

Give me broken promises

Tell me we will never part

Hold on and let me see your soul

Can you hear the words I’m speaking?

Calling you home into my arms

Calling you home into my arms

White Noise

V1: Voices calling

Pull me deeper in

Sweet surrender

Welling from within

Bring me the night

Let me hear the sound

While I listen

Your phonic’s surround

Ch. In the shadow

Can you see it in the twilight?

Can you hear that voice?

I’m listening, white noise

There’s something there

Can you hear it the background

Can you hear that voice?

I’m listening, white noise

Country:

Lone Star Shining

V1. There’s a lone star shining

From the flag out on the porch

My heart is burning

From carrying this torch

Since the night I saw you cryin’

After the high school dance

I’ve prayed to God each night

You’d give me one last chance

<country-regionw:ston><placew:ston>Ch. Take this lone star shining

To the heavens up above

Set it there with the others

And cover it in love

Take this lone star shining

Take all I have to give

The lone star will be shining

For as long as my heart lives

Lonely Sunset

He’s sittin’ home alone

Out on the porch drinkin

Wondering to himself

As the sun is sinking

What’s this life all about?

Is there some other meaning?

More than this lonely home

More than the floors and ceiling

This lonely sunset

Not the first like this

Crickets in the trees

Sing their song of bliss

This lonely sunset

Can’t warm that heart of his

This lonely sunset

Can’t replace her kiss

Musical Theatre:

Voodoo

From The Musical ‘The Queen of New Orleans’

By Richard Roebuck & Neil Stemp

CHARLIE:

It’s taken time to get us here

And now I’m sick of waiting

No more deliberation

No more procrastinating

Your method is a little slow

I swear your tricks are magic

Just speed things up Miss Monroe

It’s time for us to go

MILLIE:

It’s taken time to get us here

Your words are nauseating

I’m the one in the firing line

You’ll have to deal with waiting

CHARLIE:

Don’t ever talk to me that way

You’d better do this well

If things don’t go my way

I’ll see you all in hell

MILLIE:

Your jesterly ways confuse

If you love me why abuse

Yes I’m on your carousel

It brings me round into your hell

In this paper thin parade

I see through your cruel charade

So the months have brought Mardi Gras

Am I still your only star?

Shoot... Bang! It’s over

From The Musical ‘A Very Private Education’

By Richard Roebuck & John Victor

PAPARAZZI:

3 2 1 shoot... bang! It’s over

Your life, is over

You never live forever

3 2 1 shoot... bang! It’s over

Your life, is over

You’ll never get to Heaven

MARSHALL:

Unbelievable

The storm the wrecked the calm

It happened when we least expected

It happened to us all

So where do I go now

I’m anything but free

Our time was short

And now we’re caught

And covered in debris

CRABTREE:

Spinning around inside of my head...

MARSHALL:

Who the fucking-hell knew!

One or maybe two

Minutes to go

Till we’re on the evening news

CRABTREE:

3 2 1 shoot... bang! It’s over

Your life, is over

You never live forever

MARSHALL & TRENT:

3 2 1 shoot... bang! It’s over

My  life, is over

I’ll never live forever
